Just like any other insect screen, Prowler Proof Insect fly screen doors and windows are designed to keep small intruders out. That’s where the similarities end. Like all other Prowler Proof products, our insect screens are welded with robotic perfection. You’ll enjoy the extra strength and the great look of the welded corners every day.
The standard gauze is high quality, long lasting fibreglass but you can take it even further. A micro fibreglass gauze will keep out even the smallest insects and our pet safe polyester mesh is an economical solution if you have pets.
Thanks to Prowler Proof’s automated 7-stage powder coating process, our insect screens are available in 50 standard colours…with more than 250 further options if your favourite colour is not within our standard range.

Single Door
A single door panel that swings on hinges mounted on the left or right side of the door jamb.
French Doors
A pair of adjoining doors that swing on hinges mounted on opposite sides of the door jamb, opening in the middle.

Pet Proof Gauze

Micro Mesh Gauze
Fibreglass mesh with smaller aperture (hole size) to prevent even the tiniest intruders – 0.94mm x 0.94mm. Colour: Charcoal
A’latch
Surface mounted latch that suits either left or right hand opening hinged screen doors. Includes inside snib for easy operation.
Single Point Lock
If security is not a priority and you only need a barrier door a 1-point lock is available. Available in black.
Mid Rail
Add a mid rail in situations where you need visibility of the door. The mid rails are colour matched to the frame.
Solid Panel
The solid panel can be any height you like. Colour matched to frame. The panel is made of 1.6 mm solid aluminium.

Ideal for use with awning or casement windows, where you need hand access to the window pane. Available in Insect screens with fibreglass gauze. Plastic opening fixed directly onto fibreglass gauze. The Prowler Proof insect porthole is 87mm high x 177 mm wide. The Prowler Proof porthole is available in black only.

Single Sliding Door
A door that slides across an opening.
Double Sliding Door
A pair of adjoining doors that slide open, from the middle, to opposite sides of the door opening.
Double Stacking Sliding Door
Multiple door panels that slide in one direction and stack on a fixed panel.
Corner Single Sliding Door
Corner single sliding doors opening away from the corner connection, leaving no corner post in the centre.
Corner Double Stacking Sliding Door
Corner double stacking sliders have multiple door panels, on each side, that slide away from the corner connection, leaving no corner post in the centre.

A window that opens by sliding horizontally.
Double Sliding
A window that has two opening panels that slide horizontally.
Single Hung
One sash in the window frame is operable and moves up and down.
Double Hung
Both sashes in the window frame are operable and move up and down.
Louvre
Composed of parallel blades set in a frame, joined on a track so they tilt open and shut in unison.
Awning
The window pane is hinged at the top and opens from the bottom, swinging upward.
Casement
The window pane is hinged on one side and swings outward.
