Security Doors
Prowler Proof security doors cover every entryway in the home — hinge doors for single and french door openings, sliding doors for wide or stacking openings — from marine-grade stainless steel mesh to insect gauze, so you get a door built for how you actually use the opening. Every security door is built with our toughened welded corners, passes the Australian Standard for security screens (AS 5039), and is backed by a 10-year full replacement warranty. Manufactured in our own fully automated factory in Banyo, Queensland — not imported — and measured and fitted by certified local dealers right across Australia, Prowler Proof security doors are made and installed without the long wait times.
Security doors for every opening, from Australia’s most tested range
Every security screen door is made to the standard that gets tested — because it’s made in the same factory
Every Prowler Proof security door is manufactured in our fully automated factory in Banyo, Queensland, using the same consistent process for every unit — so the security door delivered to your home is built to the identical standard as the units that undergo independent testing, not a lower-cost variant. Every Prowler Proof security screen door has passed the Australian Standard for security screens (AS 5039), along with a range of additional performance testing beyond what’s required. We are also regularly audited by the National Security Screen Association to ensure manufacturing compliance.
It’s the details you don’t see that make a security screen door look like it belongs on your home
High-strength welded corners and our exclusive H.I.T.® (Hidden Installation Technology) concealed fixing extrusion mean every Prowler Proof security screen door sits flush in the frame, with no visible screws or brackets to give away that it was added after the home was built. Combined with a range of optional accessories, this construction runs across our entire door range — from basic flyscreens through to full security doors — so whichever level of protection you choose, it can be manufactured to match your home exactly.
Security Door Solutions for Every Home

Frequently Asked Questions
A flyscreen door keeps insects out but isn’t built to resist forced entry. A Prowler Proof security screen door is built with toughened welded corners rather than crimped or riveted joints, and a security-rated infill tested to AS 5039, the Australian Standard for security screens. We also build flyscreen-only doors on the same welded frame, so even our entry-level option is stronger than a typical off-the-shelf flyscreen door.
Three: ForceField (316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh, for maximum visibility and airflow), Protec (perforated aluminium sheet, for added privacy and coastal durability), and Diamond (diamond grille with gauze mesh). All three are available on both our hinge and sliding door ranges.
Yes. Every security screen door is measured on-site by a certified local dealer and manufactured to fit your specific opening — including single doors, french door pairs, and wide sliding or stacking configurations — rather than supplied as a standard off-the-shelf size. That measure and quote is obligation-free.
