Every Prowler Proof security screen has passed the Australian Standard for security screens (AS 5039), the benchmark for compliant security screens that meet Australian Standards across Australia, along with a range of additional performance testing beyond what’s required. We are also regularly audited by the National Security Screen Association to ensure manufacturing compliance.

ForceField®️
Woven from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, ForceField is the option when you want the mesh to disappear and the view to stay intact, helping maintain unobstructed views while giving your home a more modern, stylish finish without giving up strength.
Protec
A single sheet of perforated aluminium rather than a woven mesh, Protec trades a little visibility for extra rigidity and shrugs off coastal salt air better than most.
Guardian®️
Built to resist a child pushing or leaning against it, Guardian lets upper-storey windows open fully without turning fresh air into a fall risk. Note – Guardian is not a compliant security screen.
Diamond
Two choices – SnapLock with coloured frame and black grille or Welded with frame and mesh powder coated the same colour — proven protection at the most accessible price point in the range.
Heritage
Cast panel designs, Heritage is for homeowners chasing character and ornamental detail on a period home, it can also suit timber character homes and create a clear point of difference for period-style facades, ahead of a security rating. Note – Heritage is not a compliant security screen.
Insect Screens
Not security-rated, but built on the same welded corners as the rest of the range, so it won’t gap or work loose the way a cheap flyscreen does, helping keep insects and other unwanted visitors out. Note – Insect is not a compliant security screen.

A Prowler Proof security screen is built with toughened welded corners — not crimped or riveted joints — and a security-rated infill, helping protect your home and family from intruders while meeting the Australian Standard AS 5039 for security screens. That welded construction is used across our entire range, so even our flyscreen-only options are built stronger than typical off-the-shelf flyscreens.
