Enclosed Deck

This unique architecturally designed home is tucked away into the leafy suburb of Tarragindi in Brisbane’s inner south. The beautiful property boasts easy access to parks and is surrounded by leafy green trees and wildlife, the homeowners priority was an enclosed deck, without balustrade, and the use of window security screens was the answer.

Entering the enclosed deck early in the morning, sunlight streams through the open-plan living space and kitchen. The homeowners, having recently completed their dream renovations, shared that Village Architects mindfully curated all colours, finishes, and building techniques to create a seamless indoor/outdoor feel with their enclosed deck using ForceField window security screens. Muted greens, cool tinted whites, and satin wood finishes surround the space, aiming to blend the outdoors with the indoor environment and provide an engaging area for family and guests.

The homeowners desired an enclosed deck without the use of balustrade was important to maintain the uninterrupted views of the park.
