Fresh Airflow with Screens: The Women’s College Upgrade, located in St Lucia, Queensland upgraded its window security with an updated design – Prowler Proof ForceField security window screens. The new screens were ideal to provide excellent security and airflow while seamlessly complementing the college’s aesthetics.

The Women’s College was previously installed with diamond security screens that were old and tired. The diamond screens impeded the views of the college’s beautiful gardens and did not add to the college’s refreshed appearance. Therefore, to provide a more welcoming and homely feel to the students of the college, a decision was made to replace the old diamond screens with the modern Prowler Proof ForceField security window screens to provide fresh airflow with screens.

One of the best features of the ForceField screens is the almost invisible view, allowing clear views of the beautiful gardens surrounding The Women’s College. The ability to see outside the building was, therefore, paramount in giving students a feeling of connection to the outside. Whether the students were studying, writing, or using the space for leisure, they could enjoy the natural light in the rooms. Prowler Proof’s ForceField windows security screen offer an impressive wide-angle view of 156 degrees, to alleviate The Women’ College’s need for minimal sight interruption to the view outside while maintaining security.

Moreover, one of the considerations needed to be made was for fresh airflow with screens within rooms as Queensland’s climate demands airflow, especially in compact-style accommodation. Specifically, we needed security window screens that would allow the students to leave their windows open to take fresh breezes, especially during the summer months, without compromising their safety. Ultimately, security screens windows were designed to provide rational airflow while giving tenants top-tier security.

Prowler Proof has been able to contribute to providing a safer place for the students of The Women’s College.
